WORK

In this task 3, we need to make 1 to 3 minutes animatics. Animatics need to follow the story that submitted for Task 1 before.

First, I need to draw Thumbnail Drawings.

( Thumbnail Drawings 1 )

( Thumbnail Drawings 2 )

( Thumbnail Drawings 3 )

Those are thumbnail drawing that I wrote.

After I draw it, I start to update thumbnail drawing to StoryBoard.

( Story Board 1 )

( Story Board 2 )

( Story Board 3 )

Those are story board that I wrote.
By adding arrows, supplementary text, and sound effect notations to the thumbnails, I made it possible for anyone viewing them to visualize the story.

For the final step, I try to make animatic by using adobe animate and adobe premium.

( Adobe Animate Editing Screen 1 )

( Adobe Animate Editing Screen 2 )

( Adobe Animate Editing Screen 3 )

( Adobe Animate Editing Screen 4 )

( Adobe Animate Editing Screen 5 )

( Adobe Animate Editing Screen 6 )

Those are the image of editing screen in Adobe Animate. I created the animation following the storyboard.

After I made animatic, I try to find the sound effects from internet and combine it by using Adobe premium.

( Adobe Premiere Pro Editing Screen 1 )

After incorporating the sound effects into the animatic using Premiere Pro, I displayed the timecode and finalized it.

REFRECTION

Experiences
This project was a meaningful conclusion to the module. From developing the story in Task 1, presenting the idea in Task 2, to creating an animatic from the storyboard in Task 3, I experienced a production process similar to that of a real animator. Although the tasks were challenging, the project provided valuable learning opportunities and helped me understand the animation workflow more clearly.

Observation
I learned that a storyboard does not only show scenes and written descriptions, but also needs arrows and visual signs to explain movement and transitions. Adding arrows made each scene easier to understand and helped communicate how the animation would move.

Findings
Through this task, I learned that animatics are an important part of animation production. By adding timing and movement to the storyboard, I could clearly check the flow and pacing of the scenes and find problems before final production. This experience helped me understand the importance of planning in animation and improved my overall understanding of the production process.
