WORK
For this project, we need to make a slides and infographic animation video.
I didnt get information design module for first week so I start to do this from second week. I joined the group halfway through.
Our group topic is about Malaysian Obesity issue. First, we did the searching and make slides.
This is our slides. We have decided to create a video addressing the issue of obesity, targeting teenagers aged 12 to 18 rather than adults.
Next step, we search the video reference.
This is the result of video reference research. In this research, we focused on obesity and health issues, gathering information on the video structure, content, and various introduction approaches.
After this, we discuss about the video story. We came up with ideas for the content of the video.
And then finally, our storyline and script are decided. The contents are shown in the following image.
( Storyline )
( Script 1 )
( Script 2 )
( Script 3 )
( Story board )
Those are pixel characters and items that our group made. We made pixel arts by using Adobe Illustrator.

( Scene 2 Sound Effect )
( Scene 3 Sound Effect )
( Scene 4 Sound Effect )
Those are sound effects that we use in to the video.
Our group completed video can watch from this link.

REFLCTION
In this project, we created an animated video about the obesity problem in Malaysia. As a team member, I was involved in research, content creation, and design, and was able to improve my teamwork and communication skills. In particular, I learned the importance of conveying information in an easy-to-understand manner while organizing and visually expressing information.
The videos were designed in the style of retro video games so that teenagers aged 12 to 18 could learn about obesity issues while having fun. Organizing the vast amount of information was a challenge, but by utilizing techniques such as LATCH and incorporating feedback, we were able to improve the clarity and visual appeal of the content. We were also able to combine sound effects and animation to create a more immersive video.
Through this project, we gained a deeper understanding of the obesity issue and realized the importance of striking a balance between design and information. I would like to continue to use this experience to explore more effective ways to communicate messages through visual storytelling.
