Project 2A - Vanilla Work Animation

In this assignment, I will create a walking animation using the character I designed in Project 1.
We need to required to create an animation using 3 frames each for the Contact pose, Down pose, Pass pose, and Up pose.

First, I make a ground for character would walk.

And next, I draw contact pose.

Third step, I draw up pose. I use 9 flames for up pose.

At the fourth step, I draw Pass pose.

And the end step, I draw Down pose and, I copied the entire frame of the Pass Pose to the next sequence, completing the animation for Project 2A.

This is the completed Animation of Project 2A.

Project 2B - Jump Animation

For this assignment, we will create an animation that includes the following poses: Normal Pose, Anticipation Pose, Jump Action Pose (Push Off, On Air, Landing), Follow-Through Pose, and Normal Pose.

First, I draw ground.

This is the Normal Pose that I draw. This character just pick up from Project 2A work.

Next step, I draw Anticipation Pose. I drew a picture of the character stepping forward, using the Normal Pose as a reference.

For the forth step, I created the animation for one of the Jump Action poses, Push Off.

And next, I created the animation for one of the Jump Action poses, On Air.

Next, I created the final pose in the Jump Action, which is the Landing pose.

At the end, I created the Follow-Through Pose, then copied and added the Normal Pose to complete the Project 2B animation.

This is the first completed Animation for Project 2B.

And this is the second completed Animation for Project 2B. I got some advice from the lecture and I add some animation to Anticipation Pose, Push of Pose, On Air pose and Follow-Through Pose.

Through creating the animations for Project 2A and Project 2B, I learned the basic process and structure of 2D animation. I'm not particularly good at drawing, and I don't enjoy it much, so this entire assignment was challenging for me. However, I found the process of seeing the animation come to life really enjoyable, and I'm glad I was able to work on the assignment while having fun.
