WORK

Task 2 Key Artwork (A)

In this task, student create lettering/wordmarks for their chosen name or nickname. First, I create a mind mup.

I wrote my hobby, favorite food and what I like/love it for my lettering idea.

Make some kinds of sketch use ideas from the mind map. I use cat, music and maze idea.
After many re-creations and revisions of the design, it finally began to take shape. Finally, I decide to pick up "Maze" idea.

The letters were created using a combination of rectangles to represent the crunchiness of the maze, with the letters being readable at a glance.

A portion of the letters were cut out in a square block shape to represent the path of the maze. The cut-outs are so that all the letters can be passed through when the lines are drawn like a maze.

Task 2 Key Collateral (B)

Once the work was complete, the students chose a color palette from ColorHunt, as advised by the instructor.

(Word mark)

I tried various color combinations, but I felt that the color combination used for Wordmark was the best.

(Collateral attempt T-shirts)

I think the word mark looks much better design than left one.

(Collateral attempt Bag)

About the bag, I think both of design is good. But, if I need to choose between the two, I personally prefer the one on the left for the bag design.
